Ingredients:
4 each - 8"- 10" inch pizza crusts
1 package Dry active or fresh yeast
1 tsp. Honey or sugar
1 cup Warm water, 100 degrees F
3 cups Flour, all-purpose
1 tsp. Salt
1 tbsp. Olive oil
Method:
Combine yeast and honey in ¼ cup of the warm water. In a
mixer fitted with a dough hook, combine flour and salt. Slowly mix
in olive oil and yeast mixture. Mix until dough forms a ball and
pulls away from the sides of the bowl, about 4 -5 minutes. Turn
dough out onto work surface and knead for 2 -3 minutes. Cover dough
with a clean damp towel and place in a warm area for 30 - 35 minutes.
Divide dough into 4 parts. Work dough by pulling sides down and
tucking under 4 - 5 times per dough ball. Roll dough balls under
the palms of your hands until smooth and round. Cover dough balls
with a damp towel and rest for 20 minutes. Form pizza crusts by
stretching or rolling dough out to 8 inch circles with borders thicker
than the bottoms. Top with desired ingredients. Bake until golden
brown in a preheated at oven 450 - 500 degrees F, approximately
15 minutes.
