INGREDIENTS 4 Servings
2 pints fresh strawberries, hulled, halved
1 ounce grand marnier
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tsp. confectioner's sugar
to garnish fresh mint sprigs
1 tbsp. toasted sliced almonds
1 tbsp. shaved dark chocolate (optional)

For the sauce:
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup sweetened whipped cream
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. orange zest
1/4 cup

orange juice

 



METHOD
1. Place strawberries in a bowl with Grand Marnier, orange juice and Confectioner's sugar. Toss gently to coat strawberries. Combine sour cream, sweetened whipped cream, orange zest, orange juice and sugar. Mix thoroughly to create sauce. Place strawberries in large wine glasses and top with sauce. Garnish with almonds, shaved chocolate and mint sprigs.
