INGREDIENTS8-10 SERVINGS
1 lb.Beef short ribs thinly sliced or beef striploin
1/4 cup Soy sauce
1 tblspn.Sesame oil
1 tbsp.Sesame seeds
1/8 tsp.Black pepper
1/4 cupScallions, minced
1 1/2 tbsp.Sugar
1 tbsp. Rice wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp.Garlic, minced

For the sauce:
1 eachGarlic clove, minced
1 tsp. Toasted sesame seeds
1 tsp.Scallion, minced
1 tbsp.Salad oil
2 -3 dashesTabasco sauce
to tasteSalt



METHOD
1. Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, black pepper, scallions, sugar, rice wine vinegar and garlic in a bowl. Mix well. Lay beef slices out in a shallow non-reactive dish. Pour soy mixture over beef and mix. Marinate for 12 - 24 hours under refrigeration.
2. Prepare sauce by combining ingredients and mixing well. Reserve under refrigeration until service.
3. Preheat grill or barbeque. Grill until cooked through. Serve with steamed rice and dipping sauce.
